What Seals Are Possible and What Aren't?
We offer two types of shiny gold seals for your documents:
1. Raised Gold Ink Seal:
- This seal is printed using raised gold ink. While it isn't super shiny, it does have a subtle shine and can be felt by rubbing your fingers over it.
- The raised ink gives a tactile effect, with the image or text (like the word “Universitas” or a cross) raised off the page.
- This option gives a realistic, embossed look, where you can feel the raised details, but it is not a solid foil piece.
2. Foil Finish Seal (Flat Gold):
- This seal has a metallic gold foil finish that is flat, not raised. It provides a shiny, reflective effect when light hits it.
- While it looks stunning, the foil is not embossed, and the seal image is not raised.
- We also offer a silver foil finish as an alternative.
What We Currently Can't Do:
- We are unable to stamp an image directly into a piece of foil like the Waterloo example. However, we're actively working on adding new equipment and techniques to expand our offerings in the future.
Final Thoughts:
- Whether you choose the raised gold ink or the foil finish, both options are high-quality and suitable for various document types.
- Please communicate your specific seal preferences with our designer. Custom requests may incur additional fees.
- The type of seal used on your document will depend on the design and type of diploma or certificate.
