How to Find Seals and Logos for Your Document
Sometimes, customers may not be satisfied with the seal or logo used by our designers. In these cases, we’re happy to accommodate requests for different seals or logos. However, it’s important that any image you provide is of high quality and suitable for printing.
Can I Use Google or Image Search to Find a Seal?
Yes! You can search for school seals and logos online using search engines like Google, Bing, or Yahoo. Here's how to find high-quality images:
- Go to the Images section of the search engine.
- Search for terms like
{{School Name}} Seal
or{{School Name}} Diploma
. - Use the Tools feature and filter by Size — select Large images for better quality. If necessary, you can then look for medium-sized images, but always start with large ones.
What Makes a Seal or Logo Image Good or Bad?
For the best results, the seal or logo image must meet the following criteria:
- Resolution: The image should be at least 300 PPI (pixels per inch) for clear, sharp printing.
- Quality: Avoid sourcing images from random websites, as they often have low resolution and won’t print well.
- Professional Sources: We recommend sourcing your seal or logo from professional image libraries or the institution itself to ensure high resolution and print quality.
Why Might a Seal or Logo Be Unusable?
- Blurriness: If the image is blurry or unclear, it won’t produce a clean print on your document.
- Low Quality: Low-resolution images (under 300 PPI) may not look sharp when printed.
If you’re unsure whether an image is suitable, feel free to send it to us, and we’ll assess its quality. If necessary, we can help guide you in finding the right seal or logo!
